10 Things I Don't Want To Hear A Girl Say.

Hi everyone. So today I thought I'd do a random 'Rant' type of post where I post things that reflect on what I generally find to be annoying. The following post is mostly sarcasm.

In no particular order:

1. 'Who left the toilette seat up?'

2. 'I'm so fat.'

3. 'He came all over my face.'

4. 'I just want to kill myself & end it all.'

5. 'I'm pregnant & it's your baby.'

6. 'Is this where you stick it?'

7. 'Is he gey? He must be gey!'

8. 'I hate drama.'

9. 'He's so hot!'

10. ' I'm so in love!'

Well there you have it, 10 things I don't want to her a girl say. Stay tuned for a '10 things I don't want to hear a guy say' post, until then see you next time.

5 Makeup Myths Busted.

Are you a person who believes these?

1. You have to use a primer.

Yes, people have winning face primers and eye shadow primers. No, you don't have to use them. Eye shadow primer can help make shadows easier to blend. But if you don't find that they deliver seamless results or minimize imperfections, skip them.

2. A foundation brush is a must.

Not so. Your fingers work just as well. While professionals often use a brush with clients, who may not be keen on having their faces touched, fingers have their advantages. They warm the makeup so it melts into skin. Also, you can feel when the makeup starts to drag instead of glide, a signal to add a smidgen more.

3. Base should go all over.

You may need coverage everywhere, but that doesn't mean you should put on an even coating of foundation that'll make your face look mask like. You have the most redness and discoloration around your nostrils, the tip of your nose, and the bottom of your chin, so start in the center of your face and work out. You need the least coverage near your hairline.

4. Don't use powder.

Here's the official green light for using a powder; like a mineral makeup if that's what you prefer. Simply stick to the even planes of your face (like your cheeks and chin) and avoid areas with fine lines (like your forehead or near your eyes). One caveat: If you have large pores, skip powder, as it can settle into and draw attention to them.

5. Concealer should be pale.

There's no need to fuss about your undereye concealer shade. Many have a peachy cast to correct bluish and gray circles. Some have a pinkish hue to brighten. Just make sure yours looks natural when blended into your skin.

Eye Makeup For Every Eye Color.

Sometimes you need a little help drawing attention to your best feature - the eyes. Using eye shadow & mascara can make eyes pop and stand out. It can allow you to fake long lashes, make eyes look bigger, & experiment with color and texture for a fun or sexy look.

As with any cosmetic, there are rules of the trade. Let's take a look at which eye makeup colors fare best with which eye hue and how to use products available to achieve the eye-popping looks you desire.

Brown Eyes:

If you're blessed with dark, sultry, brown eyes, you're lucky for more than one reason. Brown eyes pair well with virtually any hue of eye shadow.

To make brown eyes pop to their full ability, shoot for green or pink eye shadow  Blue can also be a good color, and if you have golf flecks in your brown eyes, try a shadow that provides a gold-ish shimmery look. Steer clear of brown eye shadow  While brown on brown can sometimes look good, there's a good chance it could overpower the eye's natural beauty if the wrong tone is worn.

For mascara, choose a brown-black color that will accentuate your natural eye hue. Black is also flattering on brown eyes.

Blue Eyes:

Blue eye shadow on blue eyes used to be hot back in the 70's, but for today's fashion, it's just not in the cards. Shoot for Earth tones like browns, purples, taupes, and grays. Light pink is a good option for a light, casual day look.

Stick with black mascara for the lashes, or to make eyes really stand out, choose mascara with a blue undertone.

Green Eyes:

By rule, green-eyed ladies should explore eye shadows in purples and browns. The shade you choose should coordinate with the shade of green in your eyes.

For green eyes with a gold like tone, try more of a lavender color. Bright emerald eyes should steer toward plum, violet, and blue-purples. Mocha brown, gold, taupe, and lavender should be staple colors for anyone with green eyes.

Black, brown, and plum are top colors for mascara.

Gray Eyes:

It's not as common as blue, brown, and green, but some people are blessed with unique gray-colored eyes. This eye color is usually just a pale hue of green or blue, making a gray appearance.

Good eye shadow that accompany these beauties are the same colors as for blue or green eyes. Colors to experiment with are browns, purples, taupes, and grays.

Hazel Eyes:

As if picking the right eye shadow color wasn't hard enough, try have two eye colors to pick from. Hazel eyes seem to shift back and forth from brown to green.

Don't be overwhelmed. Women with hazel eyes can't go wrong with neutral colors, especially brown. Soft pink, cream, beige, and taupe are also good picks, as well as gray and black.

The Scoop on Eyeliner:

Along with eye shadow and mascara, eyeliner can also be matched up to your eye color. To pick your perfect liner, select one of these options:

Blue Eyes: neutral brown like espresso or deep blue or dark green.
Green Eyes: Purple undertones like plum or warm deep brown.
Hazel Eyes: Purple, plum, brown and deep blues.
Brown Eyes: Brown, purple, green and blue.
Every eye color: Blacks and grays will work with all eye colors.
